Calibers put together in-house from the first step towards the very last, amazing selections, constant high-quality from basic movements for the most intricate models and more than A hundred and seventy years of experience: can one really blame the French for worshipping Jaeger-LeCoultre swiss watches? Antoine LeCoultre built his farm-workshop in the Joux Valley of the Swiss Jura, in 1833. The person who would eventually be thought of the grandfather of horology committed to high-end calibers, which he sold both under his very own name also to other brandnames.

In 1890 the firm made a simple 130 movements. Yet in the decades since, each of the great brands in watch-making, from Audemars Piguet to Patek Philippe, from Cartier to Vacheron Constantin, have lined up to movements from LeCoultre in the past or some other. A wonderful piece brought in in 07 is definitely the Master Compressor Extreme LAB, but not just the 1st oil-free mechanical watch but one that offers to run eternally. This piece, at approximately $240,400, is horologically in advance of its time, adding to the forty calibers made by this manufacturer, containing one of its mottos: For Jaeger-LeCoultre, experienceing the impossible is most likely the norm.
